For the pioneering efforts in Environment Management, Tata Refractories Limited (TRL) has received many coveted awards and recognitions. Apart from this, TRL is also certified with ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) as a part of IMS since 2006.

TRL received the following prestigious awards :

• 2002 - Was honoured with the Golden Peacock Environment Management Award.
• 2004 - Received the Greentech Environmental Excellence Silver Award.
• 2007 - Tata Steel’s Ferro Alloy Plant at Joda was awarded the first prize in the category of ‘Longest Accident Free Period’ for the year 2007.
